Mark "MJ" Mickens, a junior and defensive back for the Westwood RedHawks, remains hospitalized after suffering a severe injury during Friday’s game against Clover.

After hearing news of Mickens’ injury, staff members, students, and parents from other schools around the state joined the Westwood RedHawk family to support Mark. Many took to social media sending well wishes and encouraging messages to Mark, along with offers of support for the Mickens family.
