Macy Cooke is 22 years old and on September 24, 2015, she was involved in a single car accident. She is currently in ICU at United Regional Hospital here in Wichita Falls fighting for her life. She is hooked up to a ventilator as she sustained severe traumatic injuries to her lungs. She has numerous severe breaks to her legs, ankles, feet and arm. When she becomes stable enough, she will be care flighted to Dallas where she will undergo surgery for her many injuries.

For those that don't know, Dallas is about a 2 hour drive from Wichita Falls. Not only are the medical bills going to be substantial, but her parents will be coming out of pocket for travel, lodging, and food for a process that could take quite some time.

Macy's father and stepmother work  at the James V. Allred Unit here in Wichita Falls and are Capt. Ernie Cooke and Traci Cooke. We consider them family and would love for everyone to pull together and support Macy in her long road to recovery. Her family has plenty to deal with, let's try to help them out.
