Hello everyone! This GoFundMe is specifically set up as a medical relief fund for the Carruthers family. As many of you may know, Krystle Carruthers was in a tragic car accident last Saturday (5/16) and is still in the hospital in medical induced coma, fighting for her life. Now that it's been a week since the accident and Krystle is still fighting for her life, we can only imagine the medical bills that are adding up as each day passes. The Carruthers family has been an extremely influential family in the Salem-Keizer area, mostly through their influence at Salem Academy and most recently Western Mennonite. They have reached so many people through their love for music, exchange student programs, and simply keeping an "open door policy" at their home, inviting any and everyone in at all hours. Krystle is the Carruthers 2nd oldest daughter and recently came back from deployment about 2 weeks before the accident. Krystle is a light to those she comes into contact with, served our country in the armed forces, and never fails brighten up a room with her presence.
