Jesse's Hospital Expenses

My brother-in-law Jesse was in a terrible motorcycle accident this past Sunday. For those of you who know him and for those of you who haven't had the chance to meet this caring guy, know that Jesse is as selfless as they come. He's funny, sweet, hard-working, just to name a few. He's the first to offer his time to help others, he's always ready to have your back, he never complains, he treats you to a generous meal - just because, he never comes empty handed to any gathering, he's like another father figure to his two sweet little nieces and spoils them with love and gifts. He's your 'GO-TO' guy. But right now, he's not able to do any of that. Right now he needs my help and help from his family and friends and others who feel it in their heart. You.
This is what happened...
A driver did not pay attention and made a sharp right turn from the middle lane which caused Jesse to slam on his breaks and swerve attempting to avoid an accident. However, he hit the rear of the car, launching him into the air downhill. He hit the ground and continued to roll down, until his motorcycle landed on him. He was also skinned by another car passing by. Laying hopeless and immobile until a caring couple called 911 and was rushed to the Emergency Room in an ambulance. Thankfully, he is alive and for that we are eternaly grateful... but he does have a shattered right hip and is waiting on a specialist to perform this delicate surgery. He has a long road to recovery - healing, many doctor visits, countless hours of physical therapy to learn how to walk again and to fully rehabilitate, and take pill after pill for the pain. Of course, with incidents like these - being injured isn't enough. This also comes with plenty of medical bills and home readjustments, along with unemployment.
For the future, I'm sure we all know someone who rides a motorcycle...PLEASE remember to share the road! Be aware of your surroundings when you're driving and always double check your blind spots. We wish the man who caused the accident would have done that. :( Take this advice and you could save a life!
I'll leave this here, up to you. Any donation will help at this time and will be greatly appreciated by Jesse and his family.
Thank you for reading.
