FIDO NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Our cat Fido has been a cherished family member for the last three years. On Tuesday November 18th he was a victim of a hit and run right outside our house. The driver hit their brakes and drove away after seeing what happened. Fido is in critical condition and has been trying to slowly recover from all the trauma. He is very weak and loses his breath very quickly, and he needs all the rest he can get, to let the bruising of his lungs heal. He was originally in an oxygen cage, when he was first brought to the emergency vet. Fido stayed in there for about 2 days, because he couldn't breath on his own and enough oxygen had to get to his brain to stop any further damage. He needs to be monitored, because of the head trauma he endured to make sure the swelling subsides, but with lots of rest he should be back to the kitty we all know. Fido's jaw is also extremely swollen and painful, and because of that he currently has a hard time eating. The doctors had eventually put a feeding tube in to get him the nutrients he needs until he is well enough to eat on his own. Everyday, he is working on gaining his strength back, but he needs your help and support to get better. Fido is a fighter and we need help to further his care! If you have a love for all animals, and want to show your support; donate to help this little guy on his road to recovery! Fido thanks everyone for staying pawsitive for him!
