Help for Ethan John and the Tolentino Family
Donation protected
Ethan John was born on January 21, 2025 to parents Bryan and Regina Tolentino at 33 weeks. Regina had to undergo an emergency C-Section due to preeclampsia leading to a ruptured placenta which compromised the blood flow to Ethan, reducing the oxygen supply to his brain. Due to these and other complications associated with Ethan’s fragile condition, he was admitted to the NICU, where he has remained for four weeks and counting.

Ethan’s stay in the NICU, which required round-the-clock care along with constant blood transfusions, intubation,
medications, lab tests and ultrasounds,
On the evening of March 1, 2025, Bryan and Regina received a call from the hospital asking them to rush to the NICU as Ethan had an arrest. His heart stopped beating and they were reviving him. The Lord called him
home later that night.
Ethan's brief moment on earth so much blessings to the Tolentinos which are way more important than material blessings.
Ethan’s hospital bills totaled to an overwhelming cost of ₱1,400,000—something they never imagined they would endure. Thankfully, through your assistance they have been able to settle some of the balance even while grieving the loss of their son.
Currently, they are still waiting to settle the remaining amount of ₱200K+. It was very kind and considerate of the hospital to give them until March 31 to wait for them. By April 1, Bryan and Regina will start discussing a payment plan to complete the remaining balance. Your generous contribution will help them from drowning in debt and will refrain them from the need to borrow money or sell their possessions to settle the amount.
As his name implies meaning "strong and firm", Ethan braved countless needle injections, endured multiple episodes of breathing difficulties, and survived 19 blood transfusions. He really demonstrated the meaning of his name in that, in the short period of time that he had, he was able to endure all the challenges that he had to go through. Ethan fought long and hard.
From Regina: “He might have left us too early than expected, but Ethan left us with 40 unforgettably beautiful days that we shall treasure for the rest of our lives. Ethan, our love, our baby, the one who made me a Mom, is the best thing that ever happened to us. We miss him every moment of every day.
No words can express how much we love Ethan and how much we are longing to hold him in our arms. We thank the Lord for the privilege of having him and feeling him in my tummy for 8 months, and for the opportunity to see him and be with him for 40 beautiful days. Ethan John will always be in our hearts.”
"The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised." -Job1:21
