Teddy is only 2.5 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just after his 2nd birthday. He has been kicking cancer's butt for the last 6 months but on August 1st he developed pneumonia from a simple cold because his little body has become unable to fight infections.
He has been admitted to the hospital as an inpatient and even spent some time in the ICU until the doctors could get his bleeding under control, because his blood stopped clotting properly.
His parents have been doing their best to pay his medical expenses and other expenses, along with taking care of his older brother and sister and his younger sister, who was just born in June 2016, but they are running out of money, fast, while trying to meet their insurance deductible and out of pocket max for the year.
Teddy's dad works full time and is a veteran of the Marine Corps and Army. His mom lost her job just before Christmas 2015 and had to stop looking for new work to be his full time caregiver, after he was diagnosed with cancer.
