Prayers for Pryce: The Next Steps

·       Pryce Redmon is an amazing 4-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma in August, 2018. On January 29, 2020, Pryce was admitted to Mott and rushed into emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor. An MRI the next day showed more cancer in on his brain and spinal cord. This fundraiser will go to help cover these new and unexpected medical costs as well as travel costs associated with the next treatment steps. 

·       Treatment: He has been in treatment at Royal Oak Beaumont and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital since diagnosis.

·       August, 2019: scans showed he was NED (No Evidence of Disease)

·       November, 2019: scans showed 2 spots on his skull.

·       January, 2020:Pryce was rushed into emergency surgery to remove a 6-7cm tumor from his brain. An MRI the next day showed cancer lining his brain as well as in the lesions of his spinal cord. This is considered Central Nervous System Relapse

·       NEXT STEPS: Pryce will begin chemo/radiation treatments at both Royal Oak Beaumont and Mott in Ann Arbor. Ben and Katie are also working to get Pryce into a program at MSK Hospital in New York City that has a protocol for CNS relapse patients. Ben and Katie also have a bucket list of things to do and places they would like to visit with Pryce and their other kids.
