Payden had recently began suffering from dizzy spells. Saturday morning on 3/5/2016, after her softball game she came home fine. After a short time she began to complain again of a headache and being dizzy. As she walked down the hall with mom she said she was dizzy and began to bump into walls. She then fell on the floor. Dad went to pick her up and she gave him a hug and then she began to go unresponsive looking blankly at him. She was rushed to the nearest hospital where she went to sleep and would not wake. They did many test and then decided to life flight her to a children's hospital. Once she got there she was still unresponsive and began undergoing more test. Doctors have since discovered that she suffered a stroke. She remains in ICU and is now becoming responsive and beginning her journey to recovery.
Her parents have expressed great gratitude for all the love, prayers and support people have shown. They are however still processing everything and their emotional state at this time has made this a little overwhelming. We have set up this page to keep everybody updated on the latest news while not overwhelming them with phone calls and text messages.They will be letting the family know how things are going and it will be posted on her page.
