Prayers for Manu

On Friday,February 2nd, our dear friend, sister, daughter Manouchka was in a terrible car accident in Mexico when a tourist transport van collided with another transport van. She underwent multiple major surgeries involving injury to her liver, spleen, kidney, diaphragm, intestines and lungs. Manouchka had to be intubated and was sedated for 10 days. We thank God that the surgeries were successful and she is recovering well. But there is still a long road ahead, both physically and financially.

The family has accrued a lot of expenses, including flights, extended hotel stay, rental cars, medical expenses, as well as other costs. We want to be able to help and do what we can to help. Although she’s stable, she’s still in critical condition. Once she's stable enough to move, the family would like to get her to the States right away. Insurance coverage policies are different here in Mexico than they are in the US and the family is working on sorting that out, but in the meantime we want them to be covered for every expense. As you can imagine the hospital costs, is not something the family had prepared for. And for sure there will be other many unexpected expenses.
