About a month ago Kristian was involved in a terrible dirt bike accident at LACR. He suffered what they explaned as a whiplash effect to the brain, as well as two fractures to his neck. It was a very scary time for his family to say the least, as Kris was in and out of ICU for two weeks.
Kristian is a fighter and is working his hardest to get back home to his family, but due to the severity of the whiplash, Kris is still working to regain his speech and his mobility. He has been moved to a rehab facility where he will continue to work as hard as he can, while we all continue to pray that Kris makes a full recovery.
I've known the Blomdahl's my entire life, and as you know they are all the most loving, giving, and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of being around. They would do anything for anyone without thinking twice. This is why Hunter and I wanted to do something for them, to pay it forward.
We can only imagine how extremely difficult and emotional this has been on his family, his wife Trista, and thier 4 adorable little children.
No one can say how long it will be before Kris returns home, and what his road to recovery looks like. The last thing we want this family worrying about is the hospital bills, the rehab bills, and when kris can return to work.
This is a time when friends, family, and strangers come together to help alleviate some of that stress for the people we love and care about.
