My brother Paul, was headed to Omaha the evening of 8/16/15 for a concert and an oncoming vehicle veered into his lane hitting him head on. He was life flighted to Creighton Hospital where it was discovered that He has a fractured thoracic vertebrae and lumbar spine, fractured lower right leg, bruising of lungs, shattered right ankle and multiple rib fractures. They took him into surgery for the ankle and did an external fixation of leg due to various floating bone fragments. This will need plates and screws in a few days.
They put him in a medically induced coma until just before noon on 8/17/15 when they were able to take him off of the ventilator. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and needs all the help, including prayers he can get! His seat belt saved his life!!!
