Thank you for taking a moment of your time to hear my story. On 1/7/21, my 22 year old daughter Jada S. was struck by a black SUV while crossing the street on Cesery Blvd here in Jax. Fla. The driver of the vehicle realized he hit something, got out to check the damage on his SUV, got back in the driver seat and drove off, leaving my daughter on front street to fight for her life. Only by the grace of God, a young man who witnessed the entire scene unfold, ran to my child's side to help and comfort her until paramedics arrived. The worst call in the world for anyone is a call that your child is injured or worse dead. My heart broke immediately. The thought of my child laying in the street, hurt, crying, afraid and in pain maked me sick to my stomach. My daughter is now in ICU TRAUMA, with injuries including bleeding on her liver and a broken leg. The face is swollen, her lungs hurt to breathe, her entire body on her right side is scarred from being thrown 10+ ft in the air from the impact, The driver is still on the run!! My daughter has a long recovery ahead of her. Many have wanted and ask how they can help out. This fund is for anyone out there who wants to be a blessing to her. She will need assistance in many areas of her life. Doctors predict she will be down for about 10+ weeks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let's come together for Jada, bring this criminal to justice and help her continue to be the joyful soul she was before a selfish man/woman changed her world.
