Hello everyone, I’m asking for prayers, support, and strength for my daughter, Elysse Romero, lovingly known as Elysse Angela. Elysse is only 20 years old and was just beginning to build a future doing what she loved most — music. She is currently in critical condition battling severe right-sided heart failure. On Friday at 3 AM, her heart stopped, and doctors had to perform emergency life-saving measures to bring her back. She is now intubated in the Cardiac ICU connected to multiple machines helping keep her alive. Doctors are discussing the possibility of a heart and lung transplant as her condition remains extremely serious. Her lungs have filled with fluid, and every moment is uncertain, but she continues fighting surrounded by people who love her deeply.

This comes after Elysse already experienced unimaginable heartbreak with the loss of her late boyfriend, Buku Tensai, on January 24, 2026 — something that changed her life forever. We are raising funds to help with medical bills, hospital expenses, transportation, and future transplant-related costs during this devastating time. This is heartbreaking to witness. Watching someone you love fight for their life changes you. We’re trying to stay strong for her while also carrying so much fear and pain ourselves.
