On March 24th, 2026, my world changed in an instant. I found my 3-month-old baby girl, Maeve, unresponsive in her crib after she had rolled herself between the crib and mattress. Maeve was a healthy, happy baby, and I am still at a loss for words. She is now at Golisano's Children's Hospital in the ICU, on a ventilator and many other machines keeping her alive. The doctors are doing everything they can, but we don’t know how long she was without oxygen, and her recovery is uncertain. Right now, all we can do is wait and pray for a miracle.

Maeve is the light of our lives and has four siblings—ages 6, 4, 2, and 1—who love her dearly and are waiting for her to come home. My fiancé, Dont’a, and I are doing everything we can to stay strong for our family, but this has been the hardest time of our lives. On top of everything, Dont’a is recovering from recent hand surgery and is on restricted light duty, which has made it even more difficult for us to keep up with bills and care for our children.

We are asking for prayers upon prayers for Maeve’s healing. Please, even if you don’t know us, speak life and health over our baby girl.
