Hi, my name is Dominique & I’m fundraising for my brother William “Billy” Johnson. Billy is the most loving, caring, selfless, & helpful person I know he didn’t deserve this at all. On July 24, 2022, at approximately 2:25 am, some irresponsible drivers decided to drag race up the 2100 block of Central Pkwy In Cincinnati, Ohio. At that very time, Billy & his niece decided to leave the party they were attending & head to the car. Billy opened the door for his niece & then proceeded to the driver's side to enter the driver's door. In less than 20 secs, a motorist hit the parked car parked behind Billy's car, Billy’s car, which was also parked, & Billy himself at a speed of 60-100mph. The force from the impact sent Billy tumbling in the air of what seemed to be more than 100ft. The bystanders say that he was so far in the air they thought it was a bumper from one of the drag racer's cars. When Billy landed on the pavement face down, another car hit him & dragged his unconscious body for additional blocks. Both vehicles fled the scene. When the Medics arrived, Billy had regained consciousness THANK, GOD! Once Billy arrived at the hospital, we later learned of his injuries. Billy sustained multiple broken bones. Billy’s right eye socket, left shoulder, right elbow, scapulas (back shoulder bones) left leg, & foot, & lastly, his pelvis is broken in multiple places. Billy has severe burns to the right side of his body & face. Billy had angels covering him for sure that night. Billy had recently lost his job, which means his insurance was no longer active, so the surgeries needed the hospital is refusing to operate on or using at their discretion as an option. They are trying to keep him comfortable by sedation, but that will only last so long. Billy's recovery & therapy will be extensive & expensive. I'm exhausting all options & I’m asking for any donation, no matter how big or small; it is all appreciated. Thank everyone in advance, whether you donate or just share this post. If anyone has seen or heard anything from that night in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, please contact District 1 Police Dept or the Traffic section, who is also investigating the accident @ [phone redacted] . Thank you in advance!
