My name is Nikayla and my family is asking that you support us in this time of need. Whether it be by praying or donating what you can. My mom is one of the toughest and most resilient people I know but she is gonna need a village to get through this. Our family needs your support.

In mid-July, My mom went to the doctor thinking she had a kidney infection. Instead, doctors discovered a mass on her pancreas that was cutting off blood supply to her spleen and had already caused a partial blockage. She quickly underwent surgery, during which her spleen and a large portion of her pancreas were removed.

Unfortunately, the surgeons were unable to remove the entire mass. Just yesterday, my mom received the heartbreaking news that she has stage 3 pancreatic cancer. She will be undergoing a PET scan next week and preparing for the next phase of her treatment journey.

Mom has been unable to work during this time, and the mounting medical bills and loss of income are creating overwhelming financial stress. Anyone who knows my mom knows her strength, kindness, and resilience — but right now, she needs as much help and support as possible.

This fundraiser will go toward:

• Travel costs for appointments and scans

• Living expenses while my mom is unable to work
