My heart breaks as I try to find the words to write this.

Some of you may know, and I am sorry if you are finding out here, that Tonya (Kidder) is very sick. She went to the hospital a little over a week ago only to find out she has a massive pancreatic tumor. She spent almost two weeks in the hospital and is waiting to see oncology at Dartmouth in March to go over the details of the biopsy and the expectations for what treatment options she may or may not have.

Josh and Tonya are both self employed, working together, so as you can imagine this is an immense financial hit with Tonya unable to work and Josh having no one else to help. I am starting this go fund me to help raise anything I can to help Tonya and Josh ease the financial burden so they can concentrate on spending time together and get through their day to day.

Tonya is loved by so many and she and Josh are very proud and never would ask for anything, but sometimes help is absolutely necessary. Tonya is and has always been there for anyone in need giving everything including the shirt off of her back and has never asked for anything in return.

Any funds raised would allow Josh to spend time with Tonya now and be with her through this process and at appointments, because she is going to need a lot of love and support. Although we do not know specifics the hospital doctor made it abundantly clear that Tonya needs to get done anything she wants or needs to do so we are just praying and taking it day by day. Helping to ease any financial burdens and with funds to go back and forth to appointments at Dartmouth is a starting point and the very least we can do.

Tonya has been my best friend for 50 years and as you can imagine this is absolutely heartbreaking. I will post updates as we get more information.
