Prayers, Love & Support For The Taylor Family!

Hi, as most of you know, I am Amanda, and I am writing on behalf of my sister, Erica, her husband Tom & their daughters Ashlyn & Mackenzie! It was not easy writing this ... to come up with the right words .. but the Taylor Family needs OUR help & most of all, needs ALL of OUR Prayers ..

Here is their story:

A husband, a father, a brother, a son, and a friend to all! A person who would give the shirt off his back and help anyone he could at any time; that’s Tom! And now it’s time for us to help him and his beautiful family!

On February 13th after not feeling well for almost a week Tom went to Urgent Care and was told he had a chest cold, they said if he didn’t feel better in two days to come back for a chest X-ray. On Tuesday, February 15th he went back to Urgent Care and was sent to the hospital immediately after doing the Xray. After many tests it was determined his chest cavity was filled with fluid (3 liters drained). On February 25th Tom would undergo an extensive 5-hour surgery where they would remove a lot of scare tissue and separate his heart from his lung that had basically fused together which would help his lung expand back to normal.

Tom is still waiting for the final pathology reports to determine the final diagnosis as well as expecting many more tests in the upcoming weeks, meanwhile trying his hardest to recover.

As you can imagine the stress this is causing on Tom and his family. Not to mention the financial strain. Tom is the sole provider for his family and has not been able to work since February 11th. Doctors are anticipating a minimum 6 more weeks until Tom can return to work.

Tom’s work has been beyond amazing through this all. However, soon not only will regular household bills start adding up they are starting to accrue hospital and doctor bills, which is soon to become overwhelming. (if they have not already)

We know times are not easy right now for anyone, but if you feel compelled and would consider a donation to help Tom, Erica, Ashlyn & Mackenzie it would mean the world to u! Our Prayers & Hopes are to ease some of the financial burden so that Tom can focus on getting better 100% and soon be well enough to return to work.
