Prayers for Treven: Brother's Life Saver

This GoFundMe is created to help alleviate the costs that will incur for the family of Treven Pitts as they navigate a difficult journey.

Treven (right) and his brother Ethan (left) were fishing when the unthinkable happened. Ethan fell into the water, and Treven, being the heroic big brother he is, jumped in to save him. While Ethan is okay, Treven drowned & was under for quite some time. He is now at UAB Children’s in critical condition. Below is an update from a family member. This money that is raised will go towards any expenses the family incurs while out of work with Treven, and any future medical expenses. Above all, the family treasures your prayers greatly!

Just laying my head on a pillow this morning after 2am.

The processing of the events has started.

Yesterday (Sunday) evening my nephews were involved in an accident that ended in my nephew Treven drowning. He was trying to rescue his little brother from drowning and slipped into deeper water himself and went under. He was under for quite a while before being rescued.

Everything humanly possible was done by my BIL, the neighbor, MCSO, Smithville Police, the fire department and EMT’s to rescue and resuscitate Treven in a timely manner. Thank you to every single person that worked on him.

They did get his heartbeat back while on scene and transported him to Amory hospital. When they arrived at Amory, his condition was of that he needed to be flown to UAB Children’s.

He was flown to UAB Children’s Hospital and admitted to the PICU.

The doctors at UAB told us that Treven is not out of the woods yet by any measure but they are diligently working to deliver the very best care possible for him. The next 48-72 hours are critical.

We need an army of prayer warriors to bombard Heaven’s gates on Treven’s behalf. We believe in the miraculous and supernatural healing powers of our Lord and Savior, and we know and Stand on His Word that it is settled in Heaven, and He is working a miracle for Treven even now!

Specific prayers needed for:

•Swelling in Treven’s brain and organs to decrease

•Treven’s BP to stabilize

•Air outside of Treven’s lungs to reduce with the chest tube

•Pray for my sister, my brother in law, Treven’s dad and Sam

•Pray for Ethan as he processes this entire situation as a kid that lived through his brother saving his life
