Sophia Daugherty is a beautiful, sweet, 5th grader at Laurel Elementary who is currently fighting for her life at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.  She has suffered from type 1 diabetes most of Her life.  Her blood sugar dropped very low  and as a result, she suffered a traumatic brain injury while spending the night at her best friends house this past weekend.
