My best friend of 26 years, Sherry Sosik-Lang was in a terrible car accident on her way to work on 8/13/2019. Sherry was flown to the hospital. She is in the ICU Trauma Unit with a severe brain injury, bleeding, and multiple fractures and broken bones. Upon arrival of being flown to the hospital, Sherry immediately had 2 surgeries already performed. She has several more surgeries that she will have to have completed, once the swelling and pressure in her brain is stabilized. Sherry's husband is already on permanent disability for Active Systemic Lupus and other medical conditions. He will be responsible for caring for their two children, along with daily trips to the hospital. If you know Sherry, she lends a hand to help anyone she knows. I am asking for donations to help with medical expenses, travel expenses, and anything that her husband may need to help with their children during this tragic time. Update:
A new bank account was open to deposit  donations received through Gofund Me. The Gofund Me account is still open. Sherry's husband will use funds to help with traveling expenses (parking alone is $10 per day), medical expenses that occur during Sherry's hospitalization, items that the children may need throughout this period of Sherry's long recovery process, and to help to cover home expenses since both Sherry and her husband are out of work.
