Prayers for Sam Joyner

Hello family and friends! We’ve received an abundance of calls and text with people wanting to help so we’ve decided to create this page to help the medical and staying expenses for Sam and his family durning this time as it’s so far from home.  Sam is currently on life support in ICU and we don’t have a timeline yet of just how long he will be here. We appreciate all the calls, text, and prayers we have received! Please continue to pray sams body will heal and restore it’s self. We also appreciate anything you want to give to the expense that we will be taking on through this time.

On Saturday, May 16th, Sam bought a kayak to go down the river in while he’s working up here in Colorado. Sam started out on the river kayaking by himself and was flipped out of his kayak into the 30 degree water. Our best guess is that upon flipping out he hit his head under the water and was knocked out. It took anywhere between 15-20 min before a man pulled him out from under the water and began CPR. His heart stopped twice and he went into cardiac arrest, they were able to revive him both times but he couldn’t breath on his own. At this time he is on life support and has a lot of internal damage. The doctors say it’s a waiting game at this point but i will be updating the Facebook page ‘Prayers for Sam Joyner’ as soon as we know more. Sam will have a long road of recovery ahead of him and we appreciate all of your prayers so much!
