On December 23rd, our friend Pete was hospitalized with necrotizing fasciitis, a flesh-eating infection that quickly progressed into sepsis, a life-threatening condition. Pete was placed on a ventilator and required dialysis after his kidneys shut down. The situation was critical, and doctors were not initially optimistic about his chances. If Pete hadn’t gone to the hospital when he did, he might not have survived.
Thankfully, Pete has since been removed from the ventilator and is now breathing on his own, which is a huge step forward. However, his kidneys are not regaining function, and he remains on dialysis. While doctors believe he will recover, it will be a long and difficult road ahead. Pete owns his own towing company and is the primary source of income for his family.
This fundraiser is to support Pete, his wife Sherri, and their daughters Sophia, Eva, and Lana while he focuses on healing. Any donation, share, or prayer truly makes a difference. Prayers for Pete.
