Our dear Pamela has been battling metastatic breast cancer since June 2017.  Through aggressive treatment that  Summer and Fall, Pam's follow up PeT scan revealed her cancer had nearly resolved in her breast, liver, lungs and spine.  Fast forward just 4 short months later and the cancer has returned in her breast.  This time the characteristics have changed causing her physicians to quickly make the decision for her to have a bilateral mastectomy.  Shortly after her recovery, Pam will resume chemotherapy treatments for the rest of her life.
 
This will have a huge financial impact on Pam and Shawn. With such a huge surgery being done on 5/23, Pam will no longer be able to work for the rest of this school year.  Shawn, too, will need to take time off of work to help assist in caring for Quinn, their beautiful 2  1/2 year old.
