Hi Everyone,

My sister Ashley was having the perfect pregnancy. Around 27 weeks we noticed she started to swell. We thought it was due to her being on her feet full-time at work. At 29 weeks the day after her baby shower, she began to feel super achy all over. Her main complaint was pain in her upper abdomen at the top of her pregnant belly. We all thought it was just a bad flu bug. My parents took her to a local MANA urgent care center and did a rapid Covid test on her. It came back negative. The doctor said I don’t like the way she is holding her belly get her to the emergency room now. My parents did just that and Ryan met them at the emergency room.

Her PCR came back positive with Covid. She never once had one symptom of Covid. Then they did a blood test and that is where they found out she was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome.

She was then transferred up to Rogers Mercy due to there is a doctor there that knows how to deal with Covid HELLP mothers to be. They did a C-section and she gave birth to Wyatt weighing 2 pounds and 7 ounces.

Wyatt seemed to be a very healthy baby and was slowly gaining weight. Then a few days ago he started to feel sick so they put him on a ventilator to help him breathe easier and took him off the CPAP machine.

He soon developed an infection which went septic, he is now on antibiotics and they flew him to Little Rock to figure out the origin of the infection. Little Rock has a level four NICU so he’s in great care.

As you can imagine things haven’t been easy. They’ve already been to three hospitals and will have numerous more nights in the hospital and finding lodging. From the NICU, to the life-flight to Little Rock, the countless amount of treatments, tests and much more, I’d love to get Ashley, Wyatt and Ryan as much help and support they can get financially.

We truly appreciate the love, support and prayers we have been receiving! Thank you to each and every one of you.
