If you have known me since I had children, you should have heard me say “Ms. Kay.” She and her daughters are such an important piece of our lives. She sits at our table on thanksgiving, and she is ringing our doorbell at 6:00 in the morning on every birthday of the girls with doughnuts in hand. In September, Ms. Kay began having testing done. After several long weeks, she found out she has Multiple Myeloma. She has had ALOT of complications and has been in the hospital for a month. After a lot of emotional days and very close calls, she is finally going home. She has a long road ahead of her with this cancer and everything she has been through the last month. First and foremost, I ask for your prayers for Ms. Kay and her girls. That is most important. Ms. Kay is an extremely hard worker and loves her job sitting for her elderly patients. She is unable to work with everything that has/is going on. If you are able, please consider donating to help with her medical expenses. Being in the hospital for a month and now facing a future of cancer treatments, I can’t imagine that burden. No donation is too small, as anything would help her. I appreciate your prayers/gifts, as she means so much to our family.
