Mia Maciel made her way into this world on December 15th! 

This beautiful baby girl was transferred to Cook's CHildren's Hospital on December 16th in order to have open heart surgery. She is currently waiting to have her first of a few surgeries until after an infection in her stomach is cleared up. Due to the infection she had to have an unexpected emergency surgery to repair her intestine. 

Mia has a valve that will need to be worked on and it will require a surgery soon, another in 6 months, and then another one when she is older. 

She's a fighter! She's certainly been a Christmas Miracle baby up until this point and the entire family can't wait to have her home. 

Parents, Josh & Cheyenne, are off from work and are 5 hours away from home, away from their older daughter and all of their family. They will have a lot of expenses while they are staying in Ft. Worth as well as they will have bills that will need to be paid while they are away from work.
