Matt Young was in a horrific car crash Sunday May 22, 2017 on hwy 89. Matt ran off the road, down an embankment through a wooden fence which has seriously injured him. He was flown to UK Hospital. Upon arrival to the hospital he underwent 12 hours of surgery to reconstruct his facial bones and to repair the arm. As of today Matt remains there in ICU. Matt is 18 years old and a recent graduate of ECHS. While is high school Matt went to basic training for the Army on split ops during the summer between his junior and senior year. On June 1, Matt was scheduled to leave for AIT. All Matts life he has dreamed of being in the Army.
The doctors have told his parents that Matt is probably looking at being there for 6 months. The good Lord has already worked miracles in his favor and we are sure he will continue.

Unfortunately life outside the hospital goes on and so does the bills. The purpose of this GoFundMe account is to help his parents with the household bills, medical bills and general needs while at he hospital. Please donate whatever your heart leads you to give.
