Prayers for Marcus Frutchey

Donation protected
On Sunday, October 29, Markus Frutchey III was in a collision on I-4. He is currently in critical condition at ORMC Trauma Center. Marcus sustained extensive life threatening injuries. His seatbelt saved him from brain injury, however, he sustained an extensive amount of damage to his bowels and midsection. 10 broken ribs, broken sternum, punctured lung, cut spleen, complete abdominal wall ripped apart, large colon , appendix and cecum hanging out of him at site. Took 12 inches out of colon. Ruptured rectum. Stomach and kidneys ok. No brain damage. Will need skin graft. Worried about sepsis. Right now stomach is open till can see what to do next. He will have surgery Tuesday, 10/31 at 7:30am so all prayers and good thoughts needed. He will have an ostomy bag place which he will have for 6 months to a year.
Sandy and Mark will need to be out of their practice during this difficult journey. We are to supplement their expenses as they tend to their son's needs in the hospital and are away from their optometric practice.
Thank you for all your prayers and support.
