Some of you know me and are already aware of our current emergent situation, others may not be aware. Let me start by saying that our parents mean the world to us. They are both downright fantastic human beings whom have raised and are raising a total of 8 kids combined while instilling Christian values and giving their all to the needs of our family. They are not by any means the type of people to ask for any sort of handout or assistance, instead they are the ones who have always provided to anyone in need as they are able.
Our Mom, Liz, had a bad fall on Friday August 14, 2020 which put her into an unconscious state. Ultimately she was air lifted to a hospital in Nashville, TN where she is currently still in the ICU Trauma Center. The most serious of medical problems at hand are two bleeds within the tissue of the brain which are not an area the doctors can get to and do anything about.
We have asked for prayers and prayed 24/7 for her. We thank everyone who has joined us in prayer and we are forever grateful. We believe that God has his hand on our mom. The doctors have been treating her for low sodium and now are seeing some of the swelling go down in the brain, as well as the bleeding is not currently active, every improvement is an absolute blessing!!
Our parents recently made an out of state move with 2 teenagers still to raise. One of which they are currently putting through college and the other whom requires 24hr care due to her special needs. With this unexpected and unfortunate accident happening, it leaves many questions unanswered and many open ended issues at hand as we do not know what the extent of our mom's recovery will be.
We do have faith and we have hope, we believe in the miracles our Father is capable of, therefore first and foremost we ask for your prayers to help continue to lift our Mom up to Him and for His healing hand to remain upon her. I've created this gofundme account to reach out and for obvious issues at hand. We know for sure there will be a portion of medical bills which insurance will not cover, we don't know the extent of them however. We also know that going from a two parent household to a one parent household with one teenager going through college and one requiring special care will take a significant effect on daily life.
For these reasons and many more, if you feel compelled in your heart and are able to help support our family during this crisis, please know it will be a blessing no matter the monetary value and we are completely and forever grateful. Whether you are able to do this or not, more importantly if you could please keep our mother in your daily prayers and pray with us for her recovery, that means so much more and we will take all the prayers possible.
