The experience of being a mother to a healthy child is something I had always dreamed of. My third child was born on April 8, 2025, but unfortunately, he was unable to come home. I was overjoyed until my baby began experiencing complications, which turned our world upside down. My baby was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, DiGeorge, CHF, Cleft Palate & Bronchomalacia. It has been 3 months, and I still haven’t been able to take my baby home.
Currently, I reside three hours away from home at Driscoll Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, with my husband, while our other two children remain at home. This has been an incredibly difficult and heart-wrenching time. We are torn between being with our son, Leeum, and our other children, but we have chosen to be with Leeum, even if it means staying in a hospital room.
Leeum has undergone surgery for a G-tube, as he has an unresolved heart condition. We anticipate being here for several months, with additional surgery scheduled for the heart condition within the next month or so. We kindly request prayers and support from everyone during this challenging time. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and we thank you all and may God bless you.
