I’ve contemplated sharing this because if you know my dad, he is the LAST person that would ever ask for help. He would never willingly give me permission to do this, but sometimes it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission, right? Some of you may know, he experienced a medical emergency Monday. I’ll spare you the details, but if my mom and nephew had not been by his side to intervene, he would not be with us today. After regaining consciousness, he argued to not go to the hospital, not by ambulance, and not to travel to a heart institute (all of which was not an option- the cardiologist later told us within months this was guaranteed to happen again with worse outcomes) because he was worried about the expense. Him and my mom being full time farmers don’t have access to great insurance, they pay thousands of dollars a month, but tests & tests later, two surgery’s, a pacemaker, ambulance ride, hospital admission, etc. they’re going to take a hit financially. If you know anything about how farming works it’s more hours a week than any full time job and physical labor- which he is on recovery rest at this time. We are most importantly asking for prayers for recovery, healing, minds & stress to settle. Lastly I am asking if you feel like giving any at all, I know they would be the most grateful recipients
