If you are reading this chances are Jules Henderson touched your life somehow. He was an amazing boy, young man and then man. Behind every good man is a good woman. Susan was not only his Mother. She was his nurse, spiritual guide, comedian, fall-man (“you’re so oooold!”), chef, maid, Uber, Grandma, advocate, specialist, spokesperson, and on demand fart machine.
Many people have asked how they can help. What Susan needs most is time to heal and grieve the loss of her son. What we have learned is that in this unfair world, when you are paid to keep your child or loved one alive no matter what it takes, and then they die, your paycheck stops that day. Susan will need help with monthly living expenses, and maybe take a healing trip to spread Jules ashes before she finds a new job after a decade of being his lifeline.
Julian passed away on September 15,2021 after a long battle with ALD. He was a beautiful soul. Everyone who tells a story about Jules always ends it with a new perspective on life. He had a magical way of making people want to live their best life and to trust in God’s plan.
In her time of need, please help us raise up the woman who never let this ALD Warrior down.
