Hello dearest friends and family, Below is an update on Joe’s recovery: On December 11, 2020, Joe was transported to a long term rehab facility where he will continue to receive care. We have seen many improvements as he is now following different commands. He is able to move his right and left arm, open his eyes and even give you a thumbs up to let you know that he is doing good! While in the facility, Joe will now begin working with a speech therapist on site to open up his voice box. He currently has a tracheal system and has not spoken since the day of his accident on November 25, 2020. Joe will also begin intense occupational therapy to strengthen his body. Doctors are telling the family that Joes recovery will take months even a year to fully heal. We know that this is a huge step, and Joe is strong mentally and physically and has a fire within to keep on fighting. We appreciate everyone’s love, support, and comfort during this time and process and we ask everyone to continue lifting Joe up in prayer. Prayer works keep believing with us. We know God has a mighty plan for Joe and he will be restored for a full and healthy recovery. Again, To all family and friends reading we love you all and thank you so much for being here for Joe.
