Hi, our names are Amanda, Tiffany, Kristy and Ashley and we are some of Liz's best friends. As many of you know, her daughter was admitted in to Boston Children's Hospital with some extremely scary, yet unknown details.

Jolie woke up on the first day of school and wasn't feeling well. Dan and Liz thought it was nerves and jitters and thought nothing more then she was making herself sick so they decided to keep her home. Later that day, Jolie experienced her first seizure in front of her big sisters. Since then, Dan and Liz have spent countless trips back and forth to the ER and were told that Jolie has a textbook case of epilepsy and dismissed each time. She was having multiple seizures a day and vomiting. This vibrant little girl was experiencing hallucinations, confused, and just visibly NOT ok. They knew there was something more and needed answers and all the prayers in the world for this beautiful little girl.

Liz packed up what she could in such a short time and made the trip to Boston Children's Hospital. Hoping and praying for some answers and unfortunately, they were not prepared for what was to come.

Jolie starts treatment today. She is being treated for auto-immune encephalitis (a bacteria which is attacking this little girls brain). She will be in the care of Boston Children's for the foreseeable future. With this comes many financial burdens. I am asking for any help you all can provide. Liz and Dan will have so many obstacles ahead and anything we can do for them would be greatly appreciated.
