My best friend Kathy and her husband Daniel were anxiously awaiting their first child, a son. All was going well when she had an unexpected complication at 24 weeks and was rushed to UVA for medical treatment. For days she has been receiving the best possible care to keep her and the baby strong and healthy. Once the baby is born he will need to be in the neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital for a period of time to receive the necessary care to grow strong enough to go home with his parents. Both Kathy and Daniel will have to take time off from work and they live almost 2 hours from the Hospital. We cannot put a price on this precious life so please keep the baby & family in your prayers. We are grateful for any donations which will help relieve the stress of mounting medical bills affecting the parents and allow mom to focus on baby.

Please be assured that all donations will be used for the baby's medical needs including the NICU hospital costs, doctors, tests, & medications. I will withdraw funds on behalf of the parents and transfer those funds directly to them for payment of medical bills.
