Update.... unfortunately Everett's little body was not able to take any more, and as of last night decided to fly with the angels. Please continue to pray and support Kiara in any way possible.

A friend and coworker of mine, Kiara Summers, has found herself living every mother's nightmare. Since January 2025, 10-month-old Everett Knox, son of Kiara, has been diagnosed with COVID, flu, rhinovirus, and RSV pneumonia. Baby Everett has been in the ICU at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis since April 1st, 2025, undergoing multiple tests and procedures. Everett is currently on a plasma exchange and dialysis. He has an enlarged spleen and liver and has had a lymph node removal and lung biopsy. Doctors have hit a brick wall trying to figure out how to get this beautiful boy back to health. They are thinking it may be HLH or TMA, but more tests and procedures are to come. Kind words, prayers, and donations will be greatly appreciated to help Kiara, who has been out of work and by her baby's side. Please pray Everett makes it home to his big sister Rozlynn soon, and Kiara is able to come back to work where everyone misses her greatly. Thank you.
