Prayers for Brenda and Family

Hello everyone,

As many of you may have heard, Brenda recently suffered a stroke with bleeding on her brain. She was airlifted from Wabasha Hospital to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse on Saturday. Unfortunately, surgery was not an option, as the bleed is in an extremely risky area that could result in paralysis. Upon arrival at Gundersen, the bleed had worsened. However, they were able to place a drain to relieve the pressure on her brain.

Brenda remains in the ICU, and the family is taking things one day at a time.

If you don’t know Brenda, she is one of the most passionate, caring, loving, and generous people you could ever meet. She would do anything for her family or even a complete stranger. One conversation with her is enough to understand her incredible heart.

We know the holidays have just passed, and finances may be tight for many, but if you could keep Brenda and her family in your thoughts and prayers, it would mean so much.
