Prayers for Bob Boyll
July 22, 2022
Hello dear friends and relations,
Many of you know that Bob’s been facing a recent wave of health challenges, going between the hospital and rehab since the end of May. Initially he was admitted to the ICU with an infection that went septic. While there, he developed several complications for his lungs, heart and kidneys. Then in late June, after several weeks in rehab he was readmitted to the hospital and treated for pneumonia. Then this Monday, after several weeks again in rehab, he was admitted to the ICU, treated for pneumonia again and Covid.
Thankfully he’s out of the ICU and they are on track to bring him home from the hospital, hopefully this week. Ann’s arranging a hospital bed and oxygen to be delivered, and is anticipating 24/7 care, at least for now
Bob’s committed to getting stronger. He’s still on oxygen, still singing! Bob’s spirit is strong, and it’s been a stretch in all ways.
Bob and Ann need your support with prayers and/or any financial help you can offer so Ann does not need to worry about paying the basic bills as she tends to Bob’s care. They also will be needing some equipment, most importantly a back-up generator so that when the electric outages happen this fire season, his oxygen, air purifier and AC still function.
We are so blessed to have these two in our lives. They take good care of us here on this holy road. Let's take good care of them.
*This is a message sent to close loved ones of Ann and Bob. Please feel free to share it directly with other loved ones, but do not post this on social media or make a public announcement.
Ann says:
“Thank you each and all for the loving kindness and prayers we’ve shared throughout the years. Thanks for your prayers and support now in this tender time. Please join us now in our prayer that Bob might be able to enjoy his time at home and regain his strength to move around independently."”
