At only 4 months old, Baby Gerald was diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder in which fats build up in organs instead of being removed from the body. There is no cure, but his family is pursuing treatment for him at this time to give him the best life possible.

He has already spent nearly a month of his short little life in Children's Hospital of Seattle, and the next move may be to pursue treatment in St. Louis.

Any funds raised here will go directly to the family to help cover medical costs not covered by insurance, and room and board costs while away from home.
