As many of you know Alan has been battling leukemia for the past five years. Sadly, this October he had his third relapse. His prognosis was poor. The doctors  administered  different forms of chemotherapy and unfortunately , they were not successful in treating Alan's cancer. On Monday, November 28th, 2016 the doctors informed Alan's parents that there was nothing more they could do, and he was discharged from the hospital so that he could enjoy his last days at home with his family. The prognosis is terminal and was given  approximately 2 weeks to live. 
He is currently receiving blood transfusions every other day to try and maintain his blood levels within range.  Alan's family is absolutely heartbroken and are trying their best to enjoy these last few days with Alan.
We are trying to raise funds to aid his family in paying for the funeral expenses. In addition, they are trying to fly his grandparents in from Guatemala so that they can attend the funeral of their grandson.
If we all come together and do our best to help this family, I believe that we can reach this goal and help the family cover all of the projected expenses.
