My name is Yariana and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my family during an extremely difficult time. On December 26, Luz Maria my grandmother was admitted to the hospital after becoming seriously ill. What began as a sudden decline quickly revealed severe liver failure and kidney failure. Despite the medical team’s efforts, her condition worsened rapidly. Everything happened so fast, and our family was unprepared for how quickly her health would decline. Over the following weeks, she fought bravely, but her body could no longer recover. On January 4th surrounded by love, Luz Maria passed away. She was the heart of our family, a loving grandmother whose kindness, strength, and warmth touched everyone she met. Her loss has left an unimaginable void, and our family is grieving deeply while trying to navigate the unexpected expenses that come with laying her to rest. We are humbly asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial arrangements, as this loss came suddenly and during an already emotionally overwhelming time.
