Hi, my name is Amanda Hardin (Keith).

I’m a proud mom of two amazing kids, and like so many families, we’ve had our share of ups and downs. Right now, things are especially tough, and I’ve been encouraged to share our story here. Asking for help doesn’t come easy for me, but sometimes we can’t do it all alone.

I’m raising my children on my own without child support, and due to complicated circumstances, I haven’t been able to receive any assistance beyond income-based housing. While I’m grateful for that, the reality is that rent and my car payment alone take up more than half of my income. I work hard every single day to provide for my kids, but it’s still not enough to cover all of our basic needs.

My divorce and custody case were finalized in Nevada, but since I now live in Tennessee, the process of pursuing child support has become tangled and nearly impossible. In the meantime, I’m just trying to keep us afloat.
