Prayers and Support for Weston's Cancer Journey

This is the post no one should ever have to do….Today I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. My family and close friends have known about this for a week or so but today we met with my Oncologist for the first time.

Been having digestive/constipation feelings on and off since late July. Saw general doc and a colonoscopy was scheduled. At which they found a blockage/tumor covering roughly 95% of colon…no wonder I was having issues. 2 days later they had me in for CT Scan and they found a bunch of spots on my liver and multiple lymph nodes that are probably cancerous. A second colonoscopy was scheduled this past Wednesday to place a stent to help me with bowel movements. Had a PET Scan yesterday which showed everything in detail. It’s not good.

So the next step is to figure out what type of chemo treatment will work best based on blood sample I provided today. Will get a port put in my chest and at same time do a liver biopsy with a needle poke thru the abdomen. Things are going to get worse to make me better…that’s hard to explain to my kiddos. Im posting this not for sympathy but for prayers…im really gonna need a lot of them. Please include me and my family in your prayers and thoughts. I love you all. ❤️
