On March 3rd, 2026, after a year and a half of confusing medical complications, Todd Kleppin, was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer/lymphoma, Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia (WM). WM is an incurable, but slow-growing and generaly well managed type of non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. However, in about 5% of WM cases, a secondary disease, AL Amyloidosis, develops that causes significant damage to the heart, kidneys, and nerves in particular. Todd has developed this rare combination.
Todd just received a Pacemaker to be able to help his heart as he prepares for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. This clinic has the only specialist for his condition, but does not accept his insurance or offer any financial assistance whatsoever. The deposit for this initial visit is $5,000. Between the many local hospital visits over the last 2 years just to reach this diagnosis, the chemo treatments, and this initial visit, the cost is steep and ever-climbing.
As Todd's family, we are asking for God's hand in all of this and ask you to join us in prayer and if possible, financial support.
Todd’s three wonderful children and their families are incredibly supportive and are reaching out for your heartfelt support.
"Our parents have always been very hard-working and diligent with their money. My dad, rather that prioritzing making money and gathering treasures of this world, has dedicated his life to helping others as a friend, mentor, father, and first and foremost to serving the Lord. Mom and Dad would be the last people to ever ask for financial help, not wanting to burden others if they can find a way to manage on their own, but we ask that you would prayerfully consider helping to ease their financial burden. Even if you are not in a position to contribute in any way financially, we so greatly appreciate your prayers for the Lord to work mightily through a true miracle or the miracle of medical success."
