On Dec 24, 2025, my daughter went into premature labor (she was just 23 weeks). At 12:33, my grandson Tobias was born, weighing in at just 1 lb 3.8 oz and 11.2 inches long. He is such a tiny little thing. He is on some meds for his blood pressure, which goes high and then low, and high antibiotics. He is also still on the ventilator.
He has a long road ahead of him, as well as my daughter and son-in-law. And as much as I want to be able to give my child and my grandson the world, I am unfortunately not in a position to help except with emotional support. Right now, my son-in-law's job is on the line for trying to be there for both my daughter and his son. My daughter starts back to school on Jan 5th to finish her dream of graduating and to be a better mother to Tobi.
Between work, school, and spending every extra second with Tobias, they are struggling, selling their gift cards for Christmas just to make ends meet on top of all the gas to get to and from the hospital. Any help you can give to these two young parents, even if it's just prayers for them and the baby, we would so much appreciate it. We know God's got this and it's all in His hands. But sometimes we all need just a little help. Please share if you can to help these young parents out. God Bless.
