Prayers and support for the Fahs family

Donation protected

On behalf of Scott Fahs’ friends and family, we are creating this Gofundme page to honor the life and legacy of Scott Fahs. We want to help support his wife, Cindy, who has been by his side and taking care of Scott for more than 20 years through many medical challenges. Funds will help with Scott's medical expenses that are not covered by insurance and future funeral/memorial expenses. As many of you know, Scott’s journey has been long, and he has fought every step of the way. Cindy has adopted a saying that embodies Scott’s life and journey, “Always running towards life.” She couldn’t be more accurate!!

Scott’s medical issues started in 2002 when he had a massive heart attack at the age of 31. As years passed, he encountered many more medical problems and subsequently underwent a successful heart transplant. After a long, hard recovery, Scott appeared to be thriving, but sadly last year was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. Scott never let that get him down and attacked it like all his other medical problems, aggressively and without self-pity. Unfortunately, during his battle with blood cancer, Cindy noticed that Scott was acting out of character. After a visit to the hospital and undergoing diagnostic tests, Scott had Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. After many discussions with the medical professionals and a grim prognosis, Scott and his family decided not to proceed with any more treatment. He is currently at home resting peacefully where family and friends can come and spend time with him until he transitions under the hospice umbrella.

We all know Scott as a jokester with a smile that can light up a room. He is avid in his faith and loves selflessly, serving God and helping others to know Jesus. Any support would greatly help Cindy through what will be one of the most challenging times of her, Seth’s and Brandon’s lives. Thoughts and prayers would also be appreciated to strengthen the family through this difficult time.

"Sometimes we fear death because it ends everything we have worked for. But it teaches us that death is inevitable. Hence we shouldn't fear it. Instead, we should focus on making the most out of life."
Any support you can provide for the Fahs family would be greatly appreciated in this challenging time. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
