Hello, my name is Zona Edwards (wife of Willie Edwards, Cornella's son). On Monday, February 10, 2025, my mother in law unexpectedly took her final breaths. She had gone into the hospital where she was seeking treatment for a GI bleed and started having strokes. The strokes continued to happen throughout her stay, and caused swelling in her brain. They ended up having to do a craniotomy to relieve the swelling of her brain. Unfortunately, no matter that lengths doctors went, she did not wake up, and continued having strokes.

The family was very unprepared for such a thing to occur, so we are reaching out for help. If you feel lead to give, we thank you. If you do not feel led or simply can't, we would ask for your prayers as we navigate this hard time.
