Our family is experiencing an unimaginable tragedy, and we are asking for help for my sister Sharesse and her children.

My sister and six of her children were traveling from Mississippi to Oklahoma to attend her eldest daughter’s military Family Day and boot camp graduation when they were involved in a horrific car accident in Texas. Their vehicle was struck and began catching fire.

Tragically, my beautiful four-year-old niece passed away at the scene. Our hearts are completely shattered by her loss.

My sister and her surviving children suffered serious injuries, including multiple fractures, a skull injury, dental and facial injuries, and other trauma requiring surgery and extensive medical care. One of the children remains in a coma and in critical condition. They are facing a long and difficult journey of healing, rehabilitation, and recovery.

What should have been a joyful trip to celebrate an incredible military achievement has turned into an unimaginable tragedy. Our family is now grieving the loss of a precious child while praying for the recovery of everyone who survived.

Funds raised will help the family with funeral expenses, medical care and recovery, lost income, transportation, and other needs resulting from this tragedy.

No mother should have to grieve the loss of her child while recovering from her own injuries and remaining beside her other injured children. Every donation, regardless of the amount, will help relieve some of this overwhelming burden and allow my sister to focus on her family’s healing.
